Based in Los Angeles, Skylar Edberg, known as The Food Artist, is a food stylist, culinary producer and recipe developer known for creating food that feels vibrant, craveable and beautifully real. With a background rooted in both professional kitchens and production, Skylar brings a unique mix of culinary instinct, technical precision and creativity to every set. Her work spans still photography, commercial broadcast, packaging, advertising and branded content.
Over the years, Skylar has worked alongside some of the biggest names in food and television, including Giada De Laurentiis, Guy Fieri, Rocco DiSpirito and Alex Guarnaschelli. Equally comfortable building a hero plate down to the last crumb or problem-solving something completely unexpected on set, she approaches food styling with an artist’s eye and a producer’s brain.
Her work has taken her far beyond the kitchen, from shooting commercials in Mexico City to building stadiums out of food in Atlanta and perfecting cheese pulls in Toronto. No matter the scale, her goal is always the same: make food look incredible, feel believable and leave people wanting a bite.
