Based in Los Angeles, David Westphal is a location photographer drawn to the intersection of people and place. Working across industrial, architecture, automotive, lifestyle and landscape photography, he looks for the light, perspective and moment that bring an environment to life. Whether photographing large-scale infrastructure, a building within its surroundings or vehicles and people in the landscape, his images balance a strong sense of place with thoughtful, natural storytelling. Also an FAA-certified drone operator, David works across still and video for advertising and corporate clients, often in environments where conditions can shift quickly and adaptability is essential. His fascination with photography began at age ten, when he carried a Kodak Instamatic on family travels through Europe, photographing the landscapes, architecture and places he encountered along the way.

Fun Fact: David has climbed a mountain every year for the past decade, reaching as high as 14,105 feet. Apparently, taking the easy way is not really his thing.
